Liberals take off the warrior masks and reveal hypocrite faces beneath

Posted in Politics, War with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 28, 2009 by thedoyle

Rich Lowry of NRO points out New York Times hypocrite Frank Rich’s changing stance on Afghanistan here but Rich is not alone in his hypocrisy. All of the Democrats and their Liberal supporters share that particular vice. During the Presidential Campaign the Dems and especially “The One” made quite the stink about how George W. Bush had taken his eye off the “important fight” and wasted time in Iraq. I knew at the time they were full of it, that they were willing to say anything to bash Bush but make it seem as though they themselves were not simply just a bunch of arugula-eating-surrender-monkeys.

Now, predictably, they are ready to give up the fight…again. Sure they blame it on changing circumstances such as the election, but that’s simply a pretext thinner than the Gulf of Tonkin (also used by a Dem) to do what they wanted to do earlier; give up, apologize and bend over. That is what they seem best at.

Obama’s UN Speech: More forceful against Global Warming than dictators

Posted in Culture, Economy, Environment, Media, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 25, 2009 by thedoyle

In addition to Obama’s self-absorbed speech in which he lauded the collective, knelt before dictators and stood up against a democratic Israel, Obama also warmed up the crowd for the main purpose of the waste of energy and resources that is the Global Warming…er Climate Change Summit. I have mentioned before I love how they changed the name to fear from Global Warming to Global Climate Change. The part of Obama’s speech on Climate Change was as filled with lies and fantasy as the rest of his speech on foreign policy.

Obama starts off with “The danger posed by climate change cannot be denied.”
Au contraire, I can deny it. Climate Change is a natural part of the planet. We have gotten warmer before and we have gotten colder before all without the help of SUV’s and humanity and the planet has survived it. The left’s fervor for the religion of Global Warming has them equating people like me with Holocaust deniers, demanding deniers be put into re-education camps, and drafting criminal charges for deniers, hell Obama hired the guy who helped draft those charges. For the zealots of Global Warming any dissent is dismissed, any evidence that Man isn’t the cause must come from oil companies or anti-“fill in the blank” scientists who should be ignored.

Nevermind the fact that AGW prophets seem to be missing their own evidence. From the article:
So the weather data that go into the historical climate records that are required to verify models of global warming aren’t the original records at all. Jones and Wigley, however, weren’t specific about what was done to which station in order to produce their record, which, according to the IPCC, showed a warming of 0.6° +/– 0.2°C in the 20th century.

Now begins the fun. Warwick Hughes, an Australian scientist, wondered where that “+/–” came from, so he politely wrote Phil Jones in early 2005, asking for the original data. Jones’s response to a fellow scientist attempting to replicate his work was, “We have 25 years or so invested in the work. Why should I make the data available to you, when your aim is to try and find something wrong with it?”

Reread that statement, for it is breathtaking in its anti-scientific thrust. In fact, the entire purpose of replication is to “try and find something wrong.” The ultimate objective of science is to do things so well that, indeed, nothing is wrong.

I really can’t stress reading that article enough, and it isn’t the only place that apparently those who claim “the debate is over” and it “cannot be denied” seem to want to keep info to themselves:
“If they had evidence of their Global Warming claims surely world leaders would show it to the world. Yet the UN still haven’t replied to the letter from ‘The gang of 13’ scientists in July 2008 asking for simple evidence of the UN claims on Global Warming – http://www.tech-know.eu/uploads/Letter_UN_Sec_Gen_Ban_Ki-moon.pdf.

So what is the data, I hear you ask. Obviously the IPCC has put out models before, so let’s look at if the data holds up from what they did put out. Seems that the predictions don’t hold up, but the AGW zealots will tell you the debate is over. If its over its only because the AGW zealots are pulling a Miracle Max impression, “I’m not listening”

Back to the Zealot-in-Chief’s UN speech:
“Land that human beings have lived on for millennia will disappear. Future generations will look back and wonder why we refused to act”
Um, if the planet will eat us alive and there’s drought, famine and loss of land…who are these future generations he’s talking about? I’ll leave that one alone for now.

This to me is the crux of what was wrong with what he said:
“While we must acknowledge the need for differentiated responses, any effort to curb carbon emissions must include the fast-growing carbon emitters who can do more to reduce their air pollution without inhibiting growth. And any effort that fails to help the poorest nations both adapt to the problems that climate change have already wrought and help them travel a path of clean development simply will not work.”
This has been a problem with the prophets of AGW, they believe in conversion by the sword and it is developing nations who are the ones to suffer under the Holy Gorean Church. Third World Countries often have plenty of resources they could use to improve their standard of living but they are blackmailed by Gaia’s soldiers into a worse existence all for mother earth, well actually its for allowing Gaia’s soldiers to pat themselves on the back while they do whatever they damn well please. Hypocrites.

Obama’s fantasy aside and even ignoring his Energy Secretary’s foolish and patronizing admonishment of US Citizens the fact is these nitwits truly believe the planet will kill us in a few years. The truly scary thing is they are creating laws that will not only affect business but effect every single person and all under the rubric of “for your own good.”

But will it really be good? Spain recently put out a report that its “Green Jobs” hurt its economy, that report was blasted by the Left, who once again did their Miracle Max impression. Obama tried to calm fears that environmental laws won’t affect jobs. Former President Bill Clinton appears to have broken orthodoxy and admitted the report from Spain is true. Of course like the Global Warming Data, they also won’t release the audio.

Besides changing words to make their hysteria more hysterical, Gaia’s true believers also make sure news stories fit their storyline no matter what the facts and they ignore any chance of an explanation other than evil Man and those evil SUVs made by evil business. Of course if that giant ball of light and heat 93 million miles away is in fact beginning to cool and if it does in fact create a period of cooling, won’t those who worship at the alter of the Goracle be embarrassed?
No of course they won’t be, it will be like any other mystic in the pages of the Weekly World News or Inquirer who predict the end of the world and then when the date passes they claim we were saved at the last minute. They will go back to the claims of the 70’s that we are heading towards another ice age and have to pass sweeping laws to control everyone’s lives in order to save the planet and that we have only months to do or else.

Now that I am done mocking and pointing out the dangers of these hypocrites let me say something that needs to be said, I would like a cleaner planet. Clean water and clean air do matter to me, but funny enough I would like to see useful, directed and effective rules put in place. Rules that don’t destroy our economy, rules that don’t keep Third World Countries poor, rules that don’t require a huge expansion of government into citizens private lives all for the idea that we can “stop climate change.” The hubris required in such a belief that we can stop something that has happened for hundreds of millions of years is staggering. But to Gaia’s religious zealots such belief is commonplace and they are ready to martyr everyone else except themselves.

Anti-Semite Jimmy Carter calls someone else a racist. No Seriously he did. UPDATED

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 16, 2009 by thedoyle

So Jimmy Carter isn’t just one of the worst Presidents ever, he is also the worst President of the last 50 years (sorry Libs its true) and if it weren’t for his time with Habitat for Humanity he could be one of the worst persons of the last 50 years. He was a liar and a scum while running for office, saying what ever the crowd wanted to hear to get elected, look at his tenuous support for decriminalization of Marijuana. Lately he has taken on the role of Anti-Semite-in-Chief, blaming the Joooooos for everything wrong with the Middle East and America.

Now he is actually pointing to the sliver in someone else’s eye and calling Joe Wilson’s outburst a racist incident. Carter actually has the nerve to say that since there is still a lot of racism down south (he’s from the south he reminds us, so he knows) the criticisms of Obama are all based on racism. The funny thing about that is assuming there is a lot of racism down south (there’s a lot up north too, oh and east and west and it includes blacks hating other races, latinos hating other races, asians hating other races, basically every race hating every other race) Carter doesn’t turn his own point on himself, or has he forgotten the Klan hates the Joooooos too?

All along Liberals have gleefully used the racist smear at every chance they can at any objection to Obama and his policies. Think Obama is a socialist? (I do) That’s racist, even though socialism has nothing to do with race. Think Obama isn’t from this country? (I don’t) That’s racist, even though different country does not mean different race. Think Obama lies through his teeth? (I absofuckinlutely do) That’s racist. Some of the nitwit Liberals have vivid imaginations, New York Times Op-Ed Hag (I’m sure I will be accused of sexism for that comment) Maureen Dowd even has audible hallucinations because she said in her latest inane screed she heard the word “boy” after Joe Wilson said “You lie” after Obama…LIED. In the words of Football legend John Madden said, “Let’s go to the videotape.” See, no “boy” there but in the minds of Liberals what they imagine is as good as reality, which is why they often don’t ever actually meet reality.

But that’s just a crazy, bitter, lonely op-ed writer I hear you say. Well GA Rep. Hank Johnson, looking and sounding like Orlando Jones in Office Space claimed that Wilson’s outburst will logically lead to people putting on white hoods and riding the countryside terrorizing, and Wilson is the face of that. That guy was elected to replace Cynthia McKinney whose insanity I don’t even have time to go into, nice replacement there, Georgia.

As children, we are taught the story of the boy who cried wolf. The point was that when someone repeats a false charge over and over their credibility is tarnished…and eaten by wolves too for some reason. Yet Liberals haven’t learned that lesson and continue to cry racism everywhere they can. What is funny to me is that often those same people are the ones to claim that the cry of Anti-Semite is over used and applied unfairly to those who have legitimate criticisms of Israel and Israeli policies. So I will admit I don’t have any real proof that Carter is “in his heart” an anti-Semite but he and others like Dowd and Johnson have no proof either about what Wilson really thinks or protesters really think or what I really think.

I will tell you what I really think, I hate everyone equally.

So if we are all going to be called racists no matter what we do then we may as well work hard to vote Obama out of office anyway. If you are damned if you do, damned if you don’t…you may as well do.

Scream, away Liberals.

The Media does it again.

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , on September 13, 2009 by thedoyle

So yesterday there was a large rally in DC protesting Obama’s healthcare reform plan, Obama’s out of control Liberals friends in Congress, and all of the Dem’s spending habits. How many showed up is still being debated but it was big and its part of the Tea Party protests going on since earlier this year.

The media has, since the beginning of the protests, done everything they can to oppose the protests. From making fun of the protesters to vilifying them. One repeated charge has been the media’s claim that the people [rptesting are all right-wingers who hate Obama so much that they have made posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache. The signs the Media showed months ago were actually from the Lyndon LaRouche PAC, which is a far left group. The signs they showed were easily identifiable as being from the LaRouche PAC because it said so on the posters, but the Media had no interest in telling the actual facts they were more interested in slandering the protesters as evil racist hateful right-wingers.

Last night the AP put out a story about the latest protest in DC and not only did it trot out the usual picture it again failed to distinguish the LaRouche protesters from the actual protesters.

Here is the Pic they included in the side bar of the story:
Taxpayer Rally

The pic clearly shows larouchepac.org on the poster but that is not mentioned in the story itself, instead it makes it seem as though larouchepac.org is on the same side as the protesters, but the fact is the LaRouche people are only protesting that Obama does not go far enough. They want a single-payer system which is what Obama wants as well but knows he can’t get it right away. This would be an important fact, I would think, yet the AP fails to mention it.

The Media has been letting many facts slide lately, from their refusing to delve into the Edwards affair during the Democratic Primaries to more recently completely ignoring the story of Obama’s “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones till AFTER he had resigned to ignoring all of ACORN’s many illegal activities to its continued slanted reporting on the opposition to Obama’s policies, the Media has abdicated its role as objective news reporters.

If the Media cannot or will not do its job then they deserve to fail and go out of business and many news outlets are suffering greatly. Newspapers are going out of business due to poor circulation (I will admit that the advent of online advertising hasn’t helped the papers either since that is most of their revenue but circulation is down as well), the New York Times is in serious danger (good riddance), the ratings of the major networks news at 6 pm are dropping like stones and even cable news outlets like CNN and MSNBC are being pummeled by the dreaded evil Fox News (the left’s bogeyman).

So be it. The Media did all it could to get Obama elected and they are continuing to fight alongside him as a propaganda army. The problem for the Media is that people are realizing that the Media is no longer objective fact-givers. I wonder how long it will be before Obama says we need to bailout the NYT and other Media outlets favorable to him. For all of the Left’s supposed belief in evolution, they sure don’t seem to understand it.

Darwinism is a bitch, but its a bitch I love to see in action.

Powerline exposes the New York Times

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on November 25, 2008 by thedoyle

Powerline is one of my favorite blogs. Its analysis is reasoned and the writers have class and they don’t stoop to …well my level really. 🙂 I just can’t help being “snarky.” (I heard that applied to an audience I was in over the weekend at the Federalist Society National Lawyers Convention, I liked it.)

Here, Paul Mirengoff shows how the NYT seems unable to look at its own archives while its strives to outdo all other Obama worshippers. Well worth a read.
