Overheard at the Polls

Today at the polls the following conversation was heard* between a voter and an MSNBC Reporter:

Reporter: How was your voting experience?

Voter: Well when I voted at noon I detected an attempt at voter suppression.

Reporter: Amazing. In this day and age. Can you tell us what happened?

Voter: Sure, well when I went up to  the table to get my card before going into the booth, the woman behind the table said I looked familiar and ask if I had voted here already.

Reporter: How did you react?

Voter: I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it. Such nerve to try and keep me from voting.

Reporter: Did you expect anything like this to happen to you?

Voter: Well I should have. Although nothing happend when I voted at 10am, when I voted at 11am I could see her giving me a bad look. But when she asked me that question at noon that’s when I knew she was racist.

Reporter: She was racist?

Voter: She must be, none of the other pollsters asked me that question at the other 5 voting precincts I went to.

 

* Overheard in my mind. Its amazing how the imagination wanders when you are standing in line. Still I could see MSNBC airing this.

Well today is the big day. The information about Obama is out there. He is a liar; says he’s for one thing in front of one group and says hes against that same thing in front of another group. He’s done the same thing with almost every issue; Coal, Nuclear Energy, 2nd Amendment, Taxes, Military, Public Finance.

He is a Marxist/Socialist, which is one of the most dangerous ideologies to the rights of individuals out there.

Go out and vote, at this point its all you can do.

Is Obama an idiot or does he think the rest of America is?

Judging by the reaction of the crowd behind him I think its safe to say his supporters are idiots.

This clip is from one of Obama’s rallies which the AP also reported on. I give you both to show that I didn’t misquote The One…he actually did say this. What did he say you ask? Watch and see.

Now let me pick apart what The One said and show how stupid a comment it was and then let me rip the AP a new one.

First, Obama says “Lately he’s called me a socialist for wanting to roll back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans so we can finally give some tax relief to the middle class”

Ok, see this is why I wonder if he’s an idiot or if he just thinks you are. McCain hasn’t called Obama a socialist for wanting to roll back taxes, he’s called The One a socialist because he has said recently that he wants to “Spread the Wealth” and he said in a 2001 radio interview that he wants to use the legislature to help “redistribute the wealth”. So since 2001 Obama has learned that using exact phrases of Marxist-Socialism is bad so he’s updated it for the 21st century and so “Redistribution of Wealth” became “Spreading the Wealth” but either way those are socialist ideals. So it has nothing to do with the tax breaks, it has everything to do with what he will do with the tax money he wants to collect.

But before I go on to the next goodies, let us quickly examine the rest of his sentence. Does Obama think he has to raise taxes on the “wealthiest” in order to provide tax relief on the Middle Class? Can he be that dumb? Or is it he just expects you to be that dumb and not see thru his Snake Oil sales pitch?  Here is a link to CNNmoney.com that lays out the effect of the taxes:

As you can see under John McCain’s tax plan amazingly everyone is able to get lower taxes even the middle class. You don’t have to punish some in order to help others. Punishing some in order to help others, by the way, is a socialist ideal. Hey look, yet another reason that McCain’s charge is true.

Now lets get on to Obama’s next nugget of wisdom.

“I don’t know what’s next. By the end of the week he’ll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich”

Again I have to ask is Obama dumb or is it he just thinks everyone else is? Judging by the reaction of the crowd, the latter theory seems to be true. 

See, it isn’t that Obama shared his toys or that he shared his p&j, its that he wants to force everyone else to share theirs. Communism or as it should be called Marxist-Socialism, isn’t about sharing what you have it is about the government forcing you at the end of a gun to share what you have. His crowd is obviously not smart enough to know the difference.

Now the AP in its “news story” i.e. talking points for The One:

“Obama turned to ridicule to rebut McCain’s references to Obama’s encounter with “Joe the Plumber.” McCain has capitalized on a moment when Obama told an Ohio plumber he wanted to “spread the wealth around” by boosting taxes on wealthier people to finance a middle-class tax cut.”

Notice the AP, a supposed news outlet has failed to mention the radio interview that was known about before this story came out. That interview is key since in it Obama is candid about his socialist plans. BY leaving it out the AP claims that McCain’s criticism come from “a moment” as tho it were a fleeting thing nto to be noticed. Perhaps the AP, like Obama, thinks everyone is stupid. You have to love that Objective Media.

Now the problem is that Obama’s supporters won’t care if you present this to them, like the crowd behind in the video they are either too dumb or too blind to see it. But if you know anyone who is unsure get this info to them. Let them see The One selling his sideshow of lies. Do not let Obama simply slime his way into the White House without some resistance. If Steve McQueen could stop The Blob it is possible to stop The One.

Obama thinks everyone else is stupid. Show him we’re not.

It’s close to Halloween so here’s a scary post

Now normally I don’t like to give this lying marxist any space but this is important. In this new video he repeats his lie about giving tax breaks to 95% of Americans. It was a lie because 40% of Americans don’t pay Federal Income Tax, but he used to say it was for people who make over $250,000 a year. Now, according to The One’s new video I posted above its down to those who make $200,000 a year. So he moves the goalpost by $50,000…does he change his lie about 95% of the people getting a tax break?

NOPE.

Obama is a liar. Now hey, he’s a politician so that goes without saying but this is the big lie. This is what he’s selling as his big lie.

Oh and by the way his VP says tax breaks will be for those making $150,000.

That will still probably be in that 95% range too if you ask them I would bet. Doesn’t anyone in the Media have a math major they know?

Well with one week to go lets see how low the number gets. We could have an over/under bet. My guess is it will wind up at $125,000.

Ahhhh, Mr. Spackler you have such an insight into the liberal mind.

But what do non-movie characters have to say?

Lewis Diuguid, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist says:

I never realized that Karl Marx was black.

I never realized that the long history of failed socialist policies in countries like the Soviet Union, Cuba, and Venezuela are actually the long history of failed black policies.

Here I was thinking socialism was a political-economic theory that has zero to do with race, since all sorts of races and countries had tried it that at the time had no black people running them, and had everything to do with class envy and hatred which, again, has nothing to do with race.

Thank goodness we have liberals to explain these things to us. And once the re-education centers are erected everyone will learn the truth. Here’s a former Weather Underground Member, you know William Ayers that Obama says is just “a guy in my neighborhood” talking about the Weather Underground’s plans to put people in Re-education Centers and their elimination if they didn’t learn the new way of marxist socialism.

But hey not only is bringing up socialism racist…so is bringing up the Ayers connection. DOUGLASS K. Liberals have no shame. They will lie, as we have seen above, smear people with terms like racist(dont make me go into the vaults for tons of more examples. I’ll do it) as we have seen above, and obfuscate as we have seen above. But according to them…It’s no big deal.

We have nothing to fear but what the media tells us to fear…apparently.

There has been, especially lately, an idea that things are horrible especially in our country’s economy. The media talks about an “Economic Meltdown”. The word “crisis” is used to talk about everything; housing crisis; mortgage crisis; credit crisis. Both politicians have picked up on this and both say they will make things “better” like a mother who applies a band-aid to your economic boo-boo. Are things really that bad though? Drew Carey has been working with Reason magazine’s Reason tv and he has put this video out there.

Even tho both candidates have said things are bad, one of them has gone beyond the usual pandering of saying they will make things better. Obama castigated McCain for not even mentioning the middle-class in the first two debates. Never mind that when McCain says he will make things better “for all Americans” that probably means the middle class, it is just part of Obama’s socialist class warfare rhetoric. Obama’s speeches and his off the cuff remarks are full of such clues to his socialistic ideals, ideals that seem to held by Liberals more and more these days. Obama says he will tax only the top, the richest, that small 5% who make more than the rest. He says they should carry their burden. Barney Frank, the Liberal who claimed there was nothing wrong with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and who resisted any attempt to by Republicans to regulate them, says there are “a lot of rich people out there who we can tax”.

Tax the rich. That’s step one of Socialist’s plans. What is step two? Why redistribute the wealth, of course. But of course saying it like that is a sure sign of socialism, so what can socialists say now to hide that fact?

Now while the surrounding music and titles are funny and some may claim its slanted…the point isn’t the music, the point isn’t the titles, the point isn’t even who asked the question (Liberals have eviscerated the questioner for daring to ask the question…so much for Liberals belief in free speech, but that will be another blog post) the point is Obama’s response, something the Liberals have seemed to miss. Obama stated he wants to spread the wealth, he thinks its good for everyone. He is…WRONG. Socialism is a bad idea that has never worked ANYWHERE. Everywhere it has been tried has led to a decline in innovation and quality of life. Now Obama wants this country to try it? And if the Democrats win big this year and gain a filibuster proof Senate and House along with the White House that’s exactly what they will try.

But for all of the fear mongering the Media has been doing, why haven’t they done a single story on the failure of socialism in other countries? Why haven’t they done stories about countries that used to follow socialism and have begun changing to capitalism? Why haven’t alarm bells gone off?

Because they want Obama to win. And the Media tells us what to we should fear.
