According to President Obama and his blind-faith worshipers its all the Republican’s fault that he can’t get anything done and that the stimulus is a failure.
John Hinderaker at Powerline notes a section of Obama’s recent radio address where Obama is now trying to say that Healthcare is important for jobs. Actually it will kill more jobs if it passes but that’s not the point I am raising here. Instead look at Obama’s comment, “I will not accept partisan efforts to block reform at any cost.” There is no way the republicans CAN BLOCK ANYTHING, they are totally out of power, they cannot filibuster they cannot vote anything down. Obama is already trying to lay the groundwork for blaming any failure on a party who cannot stop him. Obama’s problem is other Democrats who have actually listened to the people and the people have told them, “no freakin’ way.” But Obama obviously can’t go around blaming his own party, that’s political suicide so he opts for outright lies, which is his standard play.
Over at Pirate’s Cove, William Teach has noted another liberal trying to blame Republicans for Obama’s failure. I stole his post title, I admit it. Teach correctly notes the difference between who owns what fault when Bush was in office and now and also correctly notes the odd rush to pass the stimulus and the lack of any result.
Finally, Saturday Night Live mocked Obama’s lack of any results in their opening skit last night but at least they didn’t blame Republicans. Its a sad day when SNL is more intellectually honest then our President or his followers.
